MDH is a 113-bed healthcare facility providing a large spectrum of advanced medical treatments and personalized health services. MDH is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a member of Voluntary Hospitals of America (VHA). MDH provides a wide range of special programs for seniors, including:

• Food available once every 30 days to income eligible house holds.

This is the focal point for Senior services funded by the Western Illinois Area Agency on Aging.

• Eligibility for services: age 60 and over or disabled. All services and activities, except meals, are free.
• Nutritional Services: Dine-in and Home Delivered Meals at five sites-Macomb, Bushnell, Colchester, Blandinsville, and Industry
• Information and Assistance (I & A) and Outreach Services: Assistance with applications for Illinois CaresRx, Circuit Breaker, Medicare Part D, and Property Tax Freeze, S.H.I.P. for Medicare problems. Makes referrals to other agencies.
